Job Opening – Digital Content Creator/Video Production Artist

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and impactful digital content for the relevant social media platforms. 
  • Collaborate with the Communications Manager to develop content strategies that align with the GSWMA mission and audience engagement goals. 
  • Edit and produce high-quality visual content using photo and video editing software. 
  • Stay updated and keep abreast with current trends in digital media and incorporate such innovative approaches in content creation. 
  • Participate in strategic planning engagements, discussions and brainstorming sessions within the communications department for the effective application of creative ideas for cam­paign themes and content. 
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for user experience across all channels. 

The successful applicant should possess the following minimum qualification and experience:

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Digital Content Creator, or similar role in digital media. 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard photo and video editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. 
  • Proficiency in Television production including, development of story boards, stage/set establishment/management, use of photography and video recording equipment.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in an engaging and accessible manner. 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). 
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
